    This privacy policy describes how MA2X BV (hereinafter "we") collects, uses and protects the personal data you provide via the websites villaonthewater.immo, oesterdam241.be and oesterdam241.nl, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, regulation (EU) 2016/679) and applicable Belgian and Dutch law.

    Data collected and purposes

    We collect and process the following categories of data:

    • Contact form: name, email address, phone number (optional), message — to respond to your enquiries.
    • Booking form: name, email address, phone number, requested stay dates, number of people, message — to process your booking request and send you a quote.
    • Technical cookies: language preference, Cloudflare anti-spam token — for the site to function properly (see Cookie Policy).

    Legal basis

    • For contact and booking forms: performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (article 6.1.b GDPR).
    • For technical cookies: legitimate interest in the proper functioning and security of the site (article 6.1.f GDPR).
    • For analytics or marketing cookies (if enabled): your consent (article 6.1.a GDPR).

    Retention period

    • Contact requests: kept for 3 years after our last interaction.
    • Confirmed bookings: kept for 10 years to comply with accounting and tax obligations.
    • Technical cookies: duration varies per cookie (see Cookie Policy).

    Data recipients

    Your data is accessible only to authorised personnel of MA2X BV for the purposes described. We rely on the following technical processors:

    • Resend (transactional email delivery)
    • Supabase (database hosting)
    • Lovable / Cloudflare (site hosting and CDN)

    These providers act only on our instructions and provide the required contractual guarantees.

    Transfers outside the EU

    Some of our processors (notably Cloudflare and Resend) may process data from the United States. These transfers are governed by the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission or by the Data Privacy Framework certifications, ensuring an adequate level of protection.

    In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights:
